To conducts the communications by establishing and maintaining relationship with related stakeholders in order to maintain and improve the corporate image and reputation through conventional/mainstream and digital media that in line with overall organizational policies for XL’s business success
- Establish & maintain relationship with external stakeholders (include media, KOL
- Conduct a regular update on media database, media mapping and journalist profiling
- Prepare, update and conduct personal calendar of event in relation to media/journalist (birthday, anniversary, wedding etc.)
- Prepare corporate calendar of events include coordinate with internal in order to align the appropriate time for the corporate calendar or event
- Handle administration matters for the sake of media/journalist (mementos, souvenirs, etc.)
- Handle complaints from external (media/journalist/KOL etc.) and follow up to internal for the solution
- Follows communication plans and shares external communication material through conventional and digital methods such as an press release, photo release, posters, calendar of corporate event, electronic newsletters, social media, etc.
- Coordinate and conduct corporate communications activity with regard to media/journalist involvement such press conference, media update, media gathering, coffee morning with BOD, media visit, media invitation, internal invitation etc.
- Makes initial responses to inquiries, complaints, comments, and other contacts generated through conventional/mainstream media and social media and coordinates escalations or further communications for the solutions
- Serves as liaison with PR agencies, news agencies, event organizers, etc. to monitor compliance with timetable/budget parameters.
- Researches and gathers information for articles, press releases, events, etc.
- Assist to handle media interview (coordinate with BOD's secretary, arrange schedule, venue, etc.)
- Pushes the company message through conventional/mainstream media, online communities, media, analysts and the general public.
- Coordinate with region Corpcomm team to align the corporate comm program, activity and messages
- Conduct media monitoring (mainstream and digital) in order to gain issue, insight, complaint with regard to company
- Assist to prepare the communications pack (press release draft, talking points, FAQs, etc.)
- Provide media monitoring report/publication result with regard to the company program/activity ( monthly and ad hoc)
- Gather inputs and feedback from journalist regarding public relations program and activity
- Responsible for understanding, implementing the requirements of the occupational safety and health management system and environmental management system in accordance with their respective duties and functions.
