Head Corporate Strategy

Description: 

  Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the organization's Long-Range Plan (LRP) and annual Business Plan, ensuring alignment with overall corporate objectives and strategic direction.
  • Design and oversee the execution of high-level strategic initiatives that drive sustainable business growth and operational excellence.

  Corporate Performance Management:

  • Continuously monitor and assess company performance against established goals and KPIs.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management and the Board of Commissioners (BOC) for data-driven decision-making.

  External and Competitive Environment Analysis:

  • Analyze macroeconomic, geopolitical, and sector-specific indicators to assess their impact on the business landscape.
  • Track and evaluate industry and competitor performance to provide a forward-looking view of the market, supporting strategy refinement and innovation.

  Global Trends and Benchmarking:

  • Conduct international benchmarking and secondary research to capture global best practices and emerging trends.
  • Share relevant insights with internal stakeholders to foster strategic thinking and continuous improvement.

  Strategic Projects and Special Initiatives:

  • Ensure strategic link in plan and execution plan for major initiatives, including the XL & SF merger, ensuring successful integration and post-merger synergies.
  • Initiate and manage strategic projects across business functions from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities.

  Stakeholder Engagement and Strategic Communication:

  • Align with key principals and stakeholders on critical business matters, including performance updates and shareholder-level discussions.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Secretary to prepare and deliver strategic communication materials for the Board of Directors (BOD) and Board of Commissioners (BOC).

  Inorganic Growth and Business Development:

  • Develop and execute inorganic growth strategies including mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and other business development opportunities to enhance the organization's competitive position and innovation capabilities.
